Hope Lutheran Church stands firmly on the Bible and, therefore, teaches God's Word in truth and purity. Through energetic, practical-to-life preaching and a Christ-centered liturgy, our Savior's redeeming work is praised and His name is glorified. The members of Hope love worshipping their Lord and also enjoy the family feeling of our congregation.

A SURE ANCHOR

"Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God." Psalm 146:5.

Like to take a trip down Niagara Falls?

The mighty Niagara River plummets some 180 feet at the Falls. Yet farther upstream the river's current flows gently and boats are able to navigate. As you lazily drift downstream, you'll notice a warning sign that says DO YOU HAVE AN ANCHOR?

Perhaps you were floating downstream and suddenly came upon rapids and then the Falls. A loved one dies, and you go crashing down to the rocks below, broken and alone.

While the pain can't be taken away, you do have an anchor that can save you. The Bible puts it this way, "... we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged." (Hebrews 6:18) We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. That hope is God who through Jesus loves us and saved us from eternal death.
